This is An Awesome & Nice Looking TV Stand
By Cindy D.
I bought this TV stand for a 46" TV. My 14 year old son put it together in about 2 hours. Goes together great - pre-drilled holes are perfect and everything matches up exactly where it's supposed to be. I highly recommend this TV stand - you won't be dissappointed. For the money - it looks every bit as nice at TV stands that are $300 and up!

Excellent quality AND price
By chan
I searched high and low, far and wide to find a nice media console that wouldn't break the bank. I am extremely pleased with the product. It shipped quickly and was not damaged as a few consumers reported in their reviews. I assembled it alone, so it took a while, but if u have help it should be easy. I suggest laying out and pre-labeling all the parts so u know they are all there-- some parts.weren't clearly labelled or either not labeled at all but it easy to figure out by comparison with the diagram in the book. I highly recommend this product!

Pretty good and good for baby-proofing your smaller components.
By Joseph Szilagyi
Great construction and solid build. Looks very nice.
The only knock, and it's trivial, is that if you run a lot of hot devices in it due to it's closed construction you can get some heat build up. This isn't a knock of the model, but just of the closed-off older style classic design. It's not so bad on ours but is noticeable.
The body is a mix it looks like of real wood and heavy duty press board: very solid. The backing is the typical ultra-heavy sort of thick cardboard/woody material you see these days, that you nail into the frame. There a couple of holes pre-formed into it for running wires into it. I imagine just opening up these holes some more would allow enough heat to bleed off, but I'm not sure what it would do to the strength of the unit. If the vendor sees this they should respond.
We had a more modern open-faced metal and glass entertainment stand in our living room, but with a crawling baby short of putting an ugly fence around it there was no way to baby proof the modern open-face one.
This thing is a piece of cake to baby proof: put a restraint on the cabinet doors, on the drawers if needed, and toss an earthquake strap on the back, which I'll be doing this weekend.
