Fantastic Product!~
By E. Sudlow
This is an outstanding product. I am very impressed by both the design and the quality of construction. As others mentioned, the assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out (more on that later).
Yes, the base is large. It has to be maintain stability while supporting a 60" plasma screen. That being said, it will fit through a 30" doorway. Although the height is adjustable, it is designed to stay at the height you select. At its highest settings, it will not fit through a standard 80" tall doorway with the TV mounted, so plan accordingly when you assemble it.
Most people would not use this stand at home. It's probably a little overwhelming and takes up up too much space for that. However, it is perfect for businesses, churches, and schools.
The assembly instructions consist of a two-page mechanical drawing, with almost no written instructions at all. Included in the pacakged are a huge assortment of screws and spacers. There is no explanation, but they give you screw sizes and spacers, if necessary, to fit seemingly any TV you want to mount to it. I only needed four screws. The rest were simply extras. All the tools you need for assembly are also included.
Assembly was pretty straight-forward until it came to the crossbars that attach to the TV. The instructions are unclear, but the crossbars attach to the TV first. Be sure to center them before tightening the screws down.
Measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting holes on the back of the TV. Use that measurement to determine which set of keyhole slots on the top upright brackets mounted to the top of the cart will attach to the top crossbar.
Measure the distance from the top mounting holes to the top of the TV. Measure that distance up from the set of keyhole slots you will use to determine the total height of the entire assembly after the TV is attached. Use that measurement to determine how high you will adjust the poles. They must be adjusted BEFORE you mount the TV.
Screw the fastening screws into the top crossbar first - but not all the way. Lift the TV and insert the fastening screws into the desired pair of keyhole slots in the upright brackets. Place washers over the bottom mounting screws and insert them through the slots in the bottom half of the upright bracket and into the screw holes on the back of the TV. Tighten all four screws down.
You can use the two included wrenches to adjust the tilt, although you'd be better off with a socket wrench and a crescent or box-end wrench.
If the time comes that we need another portable flat-screen TV, this is definitely the cart I will purchase.

Well Engineered Product
By Stephen May
The reviewer who said "you get what you pay for" must have been hoping for gold and platinum parts. This cart is as sturdy as the day is long. Very well built. You get all the tools you need for assembly and each group of bolts, washers, and nuts are separately packaged, making part identification easy. You also get an assortment of different mounting bolts to fit whatever TV you might have. The only sub-par item was the instructions. Overall, an excellent buy!

My bright idea
By Todd M. Johnson
I wanted a TV cart on wheels that I could mount a flat panel TV to so I could move it from room to room. I only use internet content so aside from the power cord, its untethered. This is a really good quality piece of equipment. It rolls smoothly on tile and carpet. To balance the weight of the TV its base is huge and does not fit through a door. It makes my flat panel TV a humungous piece of furniture bigger than any old big box set. I don't know what I was thinking. High shipping cost and 15% restocking fee discouraged me from returning it before opening it. Now that it is put together it is just s big stupid, wonderfully built useless thing that I'm going to give to a thrift shop. Oops.
